Content Guidelines

SingMyLink is a platform for content creators to share their links and promote themselves with custom promo songs. To keep our community safe and our service available on social platforms, please follow these guidelines.

Usernames

Your username is your unique URL (singmylink.com/yourusername). Choose wisely!

Allowed

  • Your name or stage name
  • Your brand name
  • Creative handles (letters, numbers, underscores)
  • 3-30 characters

Not Allowed

  • Impersonating other people or brands
  • Offensive or hateful terms
  • Trademarked names you don't own
  • Usernames starting with "user_" (reserved)

You can change your username once every 14 days. We may reclaim inactive or squatted usernames.

Profile Pictures

Allowed

  • Face photos and selfies
  • Professional headshots
  • Artistic photos (clothed)
  • Logos and brand images
  • Illustrated avatars

Not Allowed

  • Nudity or explicit content
  • Visible genitalia or nipples
  • Sexual acts or poses
  • Gore or violence
  • Illegal content

Profile pictures must be safe for work (SFW) because they appear on social media when your link is shared.

Links

Allowed

  • Social media profiles (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, etc.)
  • Content platforms (OnlyFans, Fansly, Patreon, etc.)
  • E-commerce and tip jars
  • Personal websites and portfolios
  • Streaming platforms (Twitch, YouTube, etc.)
  • Contact and booking links

Not Allowed

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) - zero tolerance
  • Human trafficking or exploitation
  • Illegal drugs or controlled substances
  • Weapons or explosives sales
  • Malware, phishing, or scam sites
  • Doxxing or harassment
  • Content that violates others' rights

Sensitive Content Labels

If your links lead to adult or age-restricted content, you must:

  1. Mark the link as "Adult content" when adding it
  2. Links to known adult platforms (OnlyFans, etc.) are automatically labeled
  3. Visitors will see a warning page before being redirected

This protects both you and your visitors, and helps keep SingMyLink available on social platforms.

Bio and Display Name

  • Keep your bio and display name appropriate for all ages
  • No explicit language or sexual descriptions
  • No hate speech or slurs
  • Don't impersonate others

Generated Songs

When creating your promo song:

  • Lyrics may be suggestive but not explicitly sexual
  • No hate speech, slurs, or discriminatory content
  • No promotion of illegal activities
  • No threats or incitement to violence

Song Usage:

  • Each purchase includes up to 5 downloads
  • Use your song on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other platforms
  • You may use your song for personal and promotional purposes
  • Songs are for your use only - don't resell or redistribute

Enforcement

Violations may result in:

  • Warning: First minor violation
  • Content removal: Violating content will be removed
  • Account suspension: Temporary lock for repeated violations
  • Account termination: Permanent ban for serious violations
  • Legal action: For illegal content, we will report to authorities
